Sejarah Perkembangan Bahasa Jerman / Historical Development of the German
Language

Dalam kursus ini, pelajar akan melihat perkembangan bahasa Jerman di negara asal bahasa
dan juga di negara-negara lain di mana ia tersebar. Pelajar akan memperoleh pengetahuan
asas dalam evolusi Jerman. Pelajar akan diajar dengan pelbagai peringkat sejarah bahasa
Jerman dari pelbagai sudut pandangan sistem dan struktur. Perubahan bahasa akan dikaji
mengikut kajian fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis dan leksikal.

In this course the students will look at the development of the German language in the
geographical areas of the country of origin and other countries in which it spread. Students will
acquire basic knowledge of the evolution of German. They will be taught the various stages of
the history of the German language from the point of view of systems and structures. Language
change will be studied at the phonological, morphological, syntactic and lexical levels.

Project Ilmiah Tahun Akhir (Bahasa Jerman) / Final Year Academic Project (German)

Dalam projek ini, pelajar dikehendaki menghasilkan satu esei akademik dalam bahasa Jerman
yang panjangnya kira-kira 3000 hingga 5000 patah perkataan (Abstrak dalam Bahasa Inggeris)
berdasarkan satu topik yang berkaitan dengan kajian yang dijalankan. Pelajar akan
menjalankan penyelidikan mengenai topik ini di bawah penyeliaan rapi seorang pensyarah.

In this project, the students are required to produce a long academic essay in German of about
3000 to 5000 words (Abstract in English) based on a topic that is related to the studies
undertaken. The students will conduct research on the topic with close supervision from a
lecturer.
