MID 1015: Clinical Nursing Practice I

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course students are able to:

1. Identify patients basic needs using assessment and communication skills. (P1, A1)
2. Perform nursing procedure and individualized nursing care according to the patients’ need.

Course Synopsis:

This course comprises of knowledge and basic skills in communication and counselling technique. To

covered are definition/concept, theory, process, barrier, technique of counselling, listening skills,
questioning and interviewing skills.
