Introduction to Fiction
Kursus ini memperkenalkan pelajar kepada karya prosa yang kontemporari dan klasik dalam bahasa Inggeris yang merangkumi
pelbagai contoh novel dan cerpen. Pelajar akan diajar cara untuk membaca dan berfikir secara kritis.
This course introduces students to classic and contemporary prose works written in English and offers lively, diverse examples of the
novel and the short story. Students will learn what to look out for when reading a piece of fiction and how to think critically about it.

This course is an introduction to the elements of poetic language and poetic form. In the course, students learn to read and interpret
representative texts in the main poetic genres in English. Teaching will be based on discussions centred round a varied list of selected
poems.

Pengenalan Drama
Drama: An Introduction
Dalam kursus ini, pelajar akan belajar tentang beberapa karya drama dan penulis drama, dari Zaman Pertengahan hingga
Pascakolonial. Mereka akan membaca petikan dari beberapa karya drama, serta beberapa karya drama penuh, dan mempelajari
bagaimana karya ini dipengaruhi oleh keadaan sosio-politik yang relevan. Mereka juga akan belajar bagaimana menganalisis
tema, watak, dan unsur-unsur sastera lain dalam drama ini
In this course, students will learn about a range of plays and playwrights, from the Medieval to the Postcolonial. They will read
excerpts of a variety of plays, as well as some full-length plays, and learn how these plays reflect and are influenced by relevant
socio-political conditions. They will also learn how to analyse theme, character, and other literary elements within these plays.
