Sinopsis Kandungan Kursus / Synopsis of Course Content
Perspectives on natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic activity, tsunamis, landslides, floods
and sinking. Steps on how to identify and assess the effects of geological disasters will be discussed.
Mitigation measures to reduce the impact of disasters will also be discussed.

Geological features associated with man's physical environment, including landforms as well as
internal and external geological processes. Impacts of man's activities and structures on the dynamic
earth. Environmental Impact Assessments. Exposure to students on aspects of sampling and
analysis of environmental geological samples.
