I learned that digitalisation opens new avenues for inclusive participation. Behind every viral post or campaign lies a

network of collaborationactivists, researchers, media professionals, and policymakersworking together to turn
online narratives into offline impact. This research profoundly shaped my perspective on advocacy. I realised that
change does not only stem from formal policy interventions but also from the stories and representations constructed
in the digital public sphere. Digital media suchas social media has become a platform where PWDs assert their
agency—not as objects of sympathy, but as agents of social change
.
This academic experience became the foundation of my current career. After graduation, I decided to continue this
mission by working as a freelance content creator and disability advocacy researcher. Through educational content

and evidencebased storytelling, I strive to bridge the gap between digital discourse and public policy, ensuring that
inclusion remains a central narrative in Indonesia’s development agenda.
Today, I use social media not merely for personal expression but as a tool for public education and empowerment. I
believe that every story, no matter how small, carries the potential to inspire empathy and spark meaningful change.
