Receiving the AUNDPPnet Scholarship has been one of the greatest opportunities of my life. After completing my
-
bachelor’s degree during the COVID19 pandemic, I faced financial difficulties that made continuing my education seem
beyond reach. This scholarship allowed me not only to pursue a master’s degree but also to continue my dream of
creating positive change for people with disabilities.
Studying in the Master of Arts Programin Rehabilitation Science for Persons with Disabilities at the Faculty of
me
Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, completely transformed the way I understand disability. It was
ns of
not only about learning academic theories or technological innovations, but about exploring the deeper dimensio
humanity. I came to realise that disability is not confined to physical limitations; it also involves social structures,
laws, policies, and opportunities for participation in life. This scholarship gave me the chance to explore those
dimensions and become a bridge for change.
Throughout my studies, I experienced three meaningful milestones that shaped who I am today. First, I had the
opportunity to participate in the Accessibility and Universal Design Training Course for Persons with Disabilities
(PWDs)
in ASEAN (2023). This experience opened my eyes to the importance of inclusive design in our built environment. I
learned that accessibility is not merely about convenience or compliance; it represents respect, dignity, and equality.
When we create environments that everyone can use independently, we are not just removing barriers but giving
people their freedom and opportunity to live fully.

Second, I became part of the founding team of Vulcan Academy, an online learning platform created for
to upskill
and reskill for employment. As the Skill Development Manager, I worked closely with partners including Mahidol
University’s MUCE system to make the platform accessible for all types of disabilities. Through this initiative, persons
with disabilities across Thailand can access free training to enhance their digital and career skills. Witnessing learners
gain knowledge and confidence reaffirmed my belief that education can truly change lives.

Third, I was deeply honored when my master’s thesis was published in a national academic journal. My research,
titled “Development of a Mobile Application for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Boards for
Children with Cerebral Palsy and Communication Difficulties,”focused on creating a communication tool for children
