Position: Trainee, Sourcing & Procurement
Department

I was assigned as a trainee under the Sourcing &
Procurement Department, where I have learnt many new
features of the Excel software such as VLOOKUP and Pivot
Table functions to complete tasks effectively. My
internship also gave me the opportunity to explore the
Scan-IT to Office application to pump in/out excess stock
using barcode into transactions.

Through regular interaction and cooperation with colleagues as well as liaison with Top Glove’s
suppliers from a variety of backgrounds, I have gained valuable communication skills in a
business setting. On top of that, the internship allowed me to improve my problem-solving and
time management skills.
This internship experience has prepared me well for the realities of the workplace.
Furthermore, the knowledge I gained during the internship opportunity provided under the
Bachelor of Science in Statistics programme has helped me tremendously in securing
employment after graduation.
