Dean’s List Awards On the 26th of May 2022, the Faculty of Arts and Social
Sciences had conducted the semestrial Dean’s List
Semester I 2021/2022 Awards to celebrate the bright minds that achieved
substantial academic success for the past semester. The

credit hours of 15 for the past semester.
This semester witnessed as many as 476 recipients, a
significant increase from last semester’s Dean’s List
Awards. Of these, 296 attended the ceremony to receive
the award in person. This edition of the ceremony,
conducted in Dewan Kuliah F, is the first to be held in
complete physical mode ever since the pandemic hit the
world. This shows the commitment of the faculty to bring
back normalcy for the students in the future. This

This theme of this edition of the Awards was per aspera ad
astra, or ‘through hardships to the stars’ . This theme
signified the incredible work and sacrifices that the
students endured during the course of their studies, in
order to achieve this award. This ceremony was also
conducted with a special focus on spreading awareness
regarding environmental conservation. Members of the
organizing committee wore green ribbons to promote
awareness of climate change and the importance of green
initiatives such as recycling and reducing usage of plastics
and non-recyclable products. To conclude, it is hoped that
this ceremony will serve as the catalyst for each and every
