The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Universiti Malaya, established in 1959, stands
as a beacon of academic prowess and influence. With a steadfast commitment to
academic excellence, we cultivate an innovative environment fostering educational,
recreational, and cultural development. Our fundamental pillars revolve around
research and education, providing students with a stimulating platform for intellectual,

Throughout its history, our faculty has honed humanities-centric disciplines, placing
