1. Evaluate assessment quality, including test validity and
reliability
2. Distinguish appropriate test batteries according to physical
needs
3. Conduct test protocols properly and safely with correct technical
skills
Synopsis This course is designed to help students gain high levels of
technical skill in physical assessment to produce accurate
measurements. Principles that govern physical assessment will be
broadly discussed and critically evaluated. In addition students will
reflect on aspects of ethics and professional practice. The course
involves practical sessions which will be conducted in the laboratory
or gymnasium.
