                  IIM1004  CONSTITUTIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE LAW
                                This course discusses Federal Constitution of Malaysia as the supreme laws of the country
                         and how the principles of law can be used in the administration. It focuses on principles and doctrines
                         available in most democratic systems. Other topics include forms and relationship between states and
                         federal governments, power and  functions  of executive, legislative and judicature, citizen birthright,
                         special powers to handle subversive acts, declaration of emergency, and also the position of   Islam as
                         the official religion.

                         Course Learning Outcomes
                         At the end of this course, students are able to:
                          1.   Identify constitutional and administrative law and the relationship between the two.
                          2.   Describe the important concepts of federal constitution such as constitutional monarchy (Raja
                             Berperlembagaan), concept of the federation, division of power among states and federal, the
                             position of Islam and its institution and so on
                          3.   Explain citizens' fundamental rights as allocated under the Federal Constitution.

                         Kursus ini memperkenalkan  konsep  undang-undang jenayah sebagai salah satu undang-undang awam.
                         Topik yang akan dibincangkan merangkumi elemen-elemen jenayah, hukuman serta dalihan-dalihan dan
                         pengecualian yang boleh diguna pakai

                         Hasil Pembelajaran
                         Pada akhir kursus ini pelajar dapat:
                           1.   Membezakan di antara konsep undang-undang jenayah dan undang-undang yang lain
                           2.   Menilai sejauhmana  dalihan  dalam setiap perbuatan jenayah diterima pakai oleh   undang-
                               undang
                           3.   Menganalisis konsep dalilan dan mengetahui elemen-elemennya.
                           4.   Membandingkan  di antara konsep-konsep undang-undang Jenayah dan undang-undang lain
