Synopsyis
This course is aimed at exposing students to the basic concepts of philosophy and discipline applied
to the Ulum Syariah Education . The focus of discussion in the course covers the evolution of Ulum Syariah
Education, the various components and branches of knowledge in the discipline of Ulum Syariah Education, the
concept of unity in Ulum Syariah Education as well as issues and trends in the practice Ulum Syariah Education
in Malaysia and so forth. Students will be trained to analyze the theories and its application, methods and
principles to develop appropriate educational disciplines in Ulum Syariah Education. Discussions in the course
also take into account traditional and contemporary perspectives to ensure that the philosophical and practical
framework Ulum Syariah Education is not neglected in the performance of contemporary Ulum Syariah
Education.
Assesment Method : Continuous Assessment (Class forum, presentation, assignment) :70%,
Examination :30%
Medium of Instruction : Malay, Arabic and English Language
