              EID3004         MANAGEMENT SKILLS TECHNIQUE

              Learning        At the end of this course, the students are able to:
              Outcomes
                              1. discuss management functions, managerial roles and skills of an organisation;
                              2. distinguish  the  different  techniques  commonly  used  in  decision  making  and
                                problem solving process; and
                              3. apply the techniques learned to different decision making and problem solving
                                situations.

              Synopsis        This  course  discusses  management  skills  quantitative  as  well  as  qualitative
                              approaches in decision making and problem solving process in an organisation.
                              The  first  part  of  the  discussion  introduces  students  to  management  functions,
                              managerial  roles  and  skills,  followed  by  decision  theory  and  commonly  used
                              quantitative and qualitative management techniques
