Latihan Industri/ Industrial Training

Tujuan program ini adalah untuk menyediakan pelajar dengan latihan amali serta
peluang untuk mengamalkan apa yang dipelajari dalam kursus-kursus mereka
dalam suasana kerja yang sebenar. Program ini mendedahkan pelajar kepada
persekitaran sosio-budaya dan profesional di tempat kerja, dan membolehkan
mereka untuk membangunkan pengetahuan dan kemahiran, sekali gus
meningkatkan kadar pekerjaan mereka. Pelajar boleh bekerja di syarikat-syarikat
swasta, badan kerajaan , NGO atau jabatan atau unit di universiti untuk tempoh 20
minggu. Mereka akan diselia oleh pensyarah di universiti dan penyelia di tempat
kerja. Pelajar akan diberikan tugas-tugas pekerjaan tertentu dalam tempoh ini.
Pelajar juga dijangka menyiapkan dan membentangkan laporan berdasarkan
lampiran kerja mereka.
The aim of this programme is to provide students with on-the-job training as well as
the opportunity to put into practice what they have learnt in their courses in a real
work setting. The programme exposes students to the socio-cultural and
professional environment of the workplace, and allows them to further develop
knowledge and skills, thus improving their employability rate. Students can be
attached to private companies, government organisations, NGOs or different
departments or units at the university for a period of 20 weeks. They will be co-
supervised by supervisors at the university and the workplace. Students will be
assigned particular job tasks during this period. Students will also be expected to
complete and present a report based on their job attachment.
Prasyarat/ Prerequisite: Telah melengkapkan semua kursus-kursus lain seperti
yang dikehendaki oleh program ijazah/ Have completed all other courses as
required by the degree programme.
