ASEP 2017 Japan - "Biodiversity and Renovation"

How participation in ASEP changed your perspective on environmental sustainability?

It has given me knowledge and exposure on the importance of environment sustainability.

By living sustainably, i can contribute on creating a better world for future generations.

In what ways do you believe the project has had a lasting effect on environmental

awareness or future sustainability initiatives?

The project is not only about theoretical. It provides hand on activities which gave us the

practical experience such as planting trees which allows us to see the impact of our

actions. The visitation also enhanced our awareness in fostering a better understanding of

environmental impacts.

How did your involvement in the project influence your career choices/personal

commitment to environmental sustainability?

The involvement in the project has given me a long term behaviour change. I have

developed a great commitment to practices like reducing waste, conserving energy and

supporting eco friendly products.

Any memorable moments?

The whole project lives rent free in my head until now .

Any message to your group members during ASEP or anything else you would like to

share?

Thank you for the best summer of my life. Kawai people stay kawai wherever you are !
