Course Learning At the end of the course, students are able to:
Outcomes 1. Explain the theories of leadership and analyze its relationship
with sport entrepreneurship.
2. Identify issues of sport entrepreneurship and evaluate the
necessary sport entrepreneurship competencies.
3. Apply the knowledge and leadership and entrepreneurship skills
in sports industry.
Synopsis After successful completion of this course, students will be able to
evaluate leadership theories, entrepreneurship types, analyse
leadership styles, investigate contemporary thinking on leadership;
and how leadership roles are changing; identify ways leadership in
sport organizations can affect entrepreneurship. This course is to
inculcate sport entrepreneurship culture among future sport
managers. The students will be exposed to the history of sport
entrepreneurship as well as the evolution of sport entrepreneurship
as a field of study. This course provides general understanding of
sport entrepreneur’s characteristics and the process of creating and
expanding the new sport business initiatives.
