Message from the Vice Chancellor
Dear Campus Community,
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh and Salam Sejahtera
As we celebrate the coming Eid, it is equally important to reflect on the bigger
picture of the happenings around the world, where the those unfortunate and the
underpriviledged continue to suffer under different circumstances.
Sambil kita menyambut ketibaan Aidilfitri, adalah penting untuk kita merenung
gambaran yang lebih besar tentang peristiwa dan keadaan yang berlaku di seluruh
dunia, di mana mereka yang kurang bernasib baik dan golongan terpinggir terus
menderita dalam pelbagai kancah dan kemelut yang mengancam keselamatan dan
kesejahteraan mereka.
From Gaza to other conflict ridden zones throughout the world, from those who have
suffered from natural disasters especially the recent earthquakes in Myanmar and
Thailand, and from the people who have suffered hunger and poverty the world over,
they remain in our sight and in our hearts and minds,as we celebrate the end of the
holy month of Ramadan and usher in the month of Syawal.
