SOA7008 Environmental Health, Safety and Risk Assessment
This course component of the course is environmental safety, health and risk assessment together
with control measures. It also includes the legal requirement related to the three components. The
delivery of knowledge is based on theoretical and practical aspect of related case studies. HIRARC
shall be employed where possible.

SOA7009 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is the process of identification, prediction and evaluation of
the environmental impacts due to the implementation of some proposed activities/policy/plans. In
this context, the environment encompasses the biophysical systems, socio-economic and cultural
systems.
