Why did you choose this programme?
My personal interest in the field of chemistry made me
choose Bachelor of Science in Chemistry programme at
Universiti Malaya. Chemistry is a fundamental element
of living and is the key to driving technological
advancement which promises various career
opportunities in chemistry and other related fields. The
prestige of Universiti Malaya is unarguably the main
factor in choosing this programme as my first choice.
A comprehensive programme module has equipped me with all the knowledge and
skills that allowed me to adapt well to industries. The learning process at Universiti
Malaya not only developed me as a knowledge seeker but also as a leader. The
invaluable experiences during my studies have given me the advantage to be in a
leading role and a key member in driving our company's vision.
Universiti Malaya’s diverse culture is absolutely one of the highlights of the programme.
It gives students an opportunity to learn and work with people from different
backgrounds, countries, and cultures. A great balance between theoretical modules and
hands-on practical sessions enables students to explore and relate to the chemical
