areas, including Sri Muda in Selangor, were affected by
floods, the news and broadcasting teams worked
overtime to compile the latest information and guide the
    public.

With the completion of my degree in 2019, I became the
first person to graduate in my family. I look back at my
university years with a sense of gratitude; every lecturer in
the department has played an instrumental role in my
journey. Armed with a first-class degree and a gold medal
for the best Student Award, I plan to pursue my doctoral
studies at the Department of Indian Studies. I often Bachelor Degree Convocation 2020
provide information and share my experiences with the
students who are currently studying in the field of arts and
humanities or applying for government jobs and
preparing for interviews. I hope to continue to do so in the
    future as well.

FASS at UM is one of the best places to study. All twelve
departments in the field of arts and social sciences
have moulded diverse personalities. The former
students of the faculty now hold high positions in the
government and private sectors. It is natural that
youngsters have doubts about their jobs and careers,
but no one can deny that Universiti Malaya’s FASS
provides a great platform for building a prosperous,
diverse and inclusive future for Malaysia.
