Course Learning Outcomes At the end of the course, students are able to:
1. Discuss issues related to Sport Management research.
2. Apply basic research concepts to develop a research proposal.
3. Conduct a Sport Management research project.
4. Analyse, interpret and discuss the research findings.
Synopsis of Course Contents Building on the foundation course, this course allows the students to conduct their own research
in Sport Management using qualitative approach. The students are expected to be able to
convey the information and data gathered from the research process in a systematic and
concise manner, both orally (through a viva voce-like presentation) and in writing
(through scholarly write-ups).

Course Learning Outcomes At the end of the course, students are able to:
1. Describe the needs and expectations of prospective employers in the sports industry.
2. Apply knowledge from classroom content throughout placement duration
3. Adapt soft skills and learning experiences to fit real-world work environment.
4. Prepare a written report chronicling the internship process at the end of the placement
period as partial requirement for graduation.

Synopsis of Course Contents This course is a practical training of the knowledge that students have gained throughout the
sport management program they have enrolled. During the semester, students will be placed
under the supervision of certain officers from selected organizations. Students will perform
the jobs assigned to them by those officers. At the end of the course, students will prepare a
report that describes their experiences as well as the reality of employment they have observed
throughout the term.
