Course Learning Outcomes At the end of the course, students are able to:
1. Demonstrate the importance of social engagement.
2. Work in teams/groups and with the community.
3. Demonstrate good communication skills with Communities.
Synopsis of Course Contents This course exposes students to community service and volunteerism. Students need to plan
and implement community engagement programs in groups. Students are also required to
create a reflection journal to record self-transformation before, during and after the community
engagement program as well as group freports and presentations based on experiences with
the communities.

1. Discuss different concepts of entrepreneurship in sport industry.
2. Employ entrepreneurial problem solving skills in the sport industry.
3. Develop a business plan in sport industry.
Synopsis of Course Contents This course provides the basic concepts of entrepreneurship to students. They will learn how
to think entrepreneurially throughout their life. They will also discuss different skills and
characteristics of an entrepreneur. Students will improve their business skills by learning
about writing a business plan and presenting it in front of audience.
