The course will help students develop their confidence in speaking English.
Students will learn how to prepare and deliver effective speeches, informative talks
and presentations in academic and non-academic settings using appropriate verbal
and non-verbal language. Students will also learn how to design and use effective
and appropriate visual aids for presentations.

Prasyarat/ Prerequisite: Lulus dengan minima Gred C dalam Pendengaran dan
Pertuturan yang Berkesan/ A pass with a minimum of Grade C in Effective Listening
and Speaking.

Analisis Teks/ Analysing Texts

Kursus ini memperkenalkan pelajar kepada idea semasa dalam teks dan wacana
dan mengkaji pelbagai jenis teks yang autentik. Pelajar juga akan mempelajari
penggunaan peranti linguistik yang berkesan dan penting dalam penghasilan
pelbagai teks dan wacana.

This course introduces students to the contemporary ideas in text and discourse
and examines a wide variety of authentic texts. Students will also learn to apply
effective linguistic devices that are essential in the production of various types of
text and discourse.
