BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Mohd Izhan Mohd Yusoff received his degrees of Ph.D., M.Sc., and
B.Sc. in the fields of Mathematics, Applied Statistics, and Statistical
Modelling respectively from the Institute of Mathematical Sciences,
Universiti Malaya. Working in Telekom Malaysia Berhad since 1994, he
held several posts including Research Officer (R&D), Manager of
Intellectual Property (Telekom Multimedia), Head of Operation
Support Systems Program, Analytics Consultant, and was involved in
numerous projects and IPRs such as RDTC/180953: E-Census and MY-
165725-A: Broadband User Profiling respectively. He authored and
co-authored several papers for journals and proceedings such as
Computational and Mathematical Methods in Medicine, Int. Journal of
Engineering Trends and Technology, Advances in Operations
Research, and Mathematical Problems in Engineering. Currently a life
member and a former council member of the Institute Statistics
Malaysia, and an External Advisor (Industry) to Statistics Program in
the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. His research interests include
Applied Statistics and Statistical Modelling, AI and Machine Learning,
Forecasting techniques, System Dynamics methodology, Data Science,
and Data Analytics.
