Course Learning Outcomes At the end of the course, students are able to:-
1. Explain theoretical approaches of high performance sport including team and athletes
management;
2. Compare-contrast conflicts in the management of sport elite
3. Discuss issues related to high performance sport
Synopsis of Course Contents This course is related to the management of high performance sport in the pre-, during- and
post-season competitions. Differences between team and individual athlete management
are also highlighted. At the end of the course, students are required to analyse one team
competing in a selected tournament and discuss other relevant issues.

3. Discuss issues related to community sport management
Synopsis of Course Contents This course is related to community sport management especially emphasizing
comprehensively on special groups in the community sport. At the end of the course,
students are required to analyse selected community sport and discuss relevant issues.
