Synopsis of Course Contents The industry of international sport has presented sport business as its main component.
International sport business dominates the world’s events and mega tournaments, either as
sponsors or event organizers. This course will introduce students the types of international
sport business in the effort to understand the structures and process that enable the success
of this business.

1. Discuss the requisites of International Governing Body for Golf
2. Define functionality and strategies of effective golf clubs/resorts
3. Appraise the issues affecting the operations of golf clubs/resorts
Synopsis of Course Contents The course prepares the students to conceptualize the operations of a golf industry
organization that covers aspects of golf industry project management focusing on
implementation, funding and business strategies. Students will be exposed to operational
basics such as cart fleet management, caddie management dan golf range management.
The course would also discuss the new development in golf industry operations such as
technological innovations. Students will also learn the rules applied by the International
Governing Body for Golf especially with regard to the rules and regulations of golf.
