Asacrifice in the defence of our nation.
The COMBALL PALAPES UM 2025 stands as a testament to the enduring strength,
camaraderie, and leadership of our officer cadets and alumni who embody courage,
resilience, and unwavering loyalty to Malaysia, reflecting the 60th anniversary of
PALAPES UM.
As we honour their achievements, we also look ahead - to the future-driven readiness
and capacity building of our PALAPES members.
In a rapidly changing security landscape shaped by new technologies, hybrid threats,
and shifting geopolitical realities, our cadets must continue to cultivate foresight and
insight, to understand not only the art of defence, but also the broader dimensions of
national resilience.
This readiness goes beyond the classroom and beyond training grounds. It
encompasses strategic awareness, critical thinking, and values-based leadership -
the foundations of an informed, prepared, and united generation ready to safeguard
Malaysia’s sovereignty and interests.
To all members of PALAPES UM, past and present - we salute you. Your discipline,
commitment, and patriotism continue to inspire the UM family and the nation.
Let us continue to nurture leaders who are not only defenders of the homeland but
