(d) The offer shall lapse should the candidate fail to register in the
semester that has been prescribed.
(e) A candidate who is allowed to defer registration of his programme
of study shall not be considered as a registered student and is not
entitled to the use of any of the University’s facilities.
(4) Admission of Non-Graduating Students
(a) The Dean of the Faculty can exercise his discretion to admit a
candidate as a Non-Graduating Student subject to the following
conditions:
(i) the period does not exceed two semesters;
(ii) the number of courses that can be taken by a non-
graduating student shall not be more than 20 credits for a
Normal Semester and not more than 10 credits for a
Special Semester; and
(iii) the course that is taken shall be from the same level of
study or lower from the level undertaken at the student’s
home university. A Non-Graduating Student is not allowed
to undertake courses at a higher level of study than that
undertaken in the student’s home university.
(b) A Non-Graduating Student who registers for any course may sit
for the University’s final examination.
3. REGISTRATION
(1) Concurrent Registration
(a) A student is not allowed to concurrently register for other
programme of study which leads to the award of a diploma/first
degree/post graduate degree at the University or at any other
institution or university.
(b) Notwithstanding anything stated under paragraph (a) above, a
student is allowed to concurrently register in a situation where the
University has a collaborative programme with another university
or other institution that leads to the award of a degree.
(c) Any student found to be in breach of paragraph (a) above may be
terminated from his programme of study without any refund of any
fees and other payments that have been made.
