(i) Normal Semester - three weeks from the last date of
examination.
(ii) Special Semester- one week from the last date of the
examination.
(b) The final marks and grade for a course for each student shall be
as those that have been approved by the Committee of
Examiners.
(b) The Registrar is responsible to keep the student’s official record
and to release them to each student:
(i) the examination results for the semester concerned; and
(ii) the student’s academic transcript upon completion of his
programme of study.
(5) Determining Student’s Academic Performance
(a) Method of calculating GPA and CGPA
(i) The academic performance of a student in a particular
semester is determined by the GPA and CGPA. The GPA
is calculated by dividing the total grade points obtained by
the total number of credits taken in a particular semester.
(ii) The CGPA is calculated by dividing the total grade points
obtained by the total number of credits for all courses taken
from the first semester until the current semester.
An example of GPA and CGPA calculation:
