(A) Every faculty shall form a Committee of Examiners
for each programme of study for every semester in
each academic session.

(B) Subject to the powers of the Senate, the Committee
of Examiners shall consider the examination results
and carry out all other powers given to it in
accordance to the provisions of the relevant
regulations.

(ii) Membership of the Committee of Examiners

(A) Unless otherwise hereinafter provided, the
membership of the Committee of Examiners shall
be as follows:

(aa) The Vice-Chancellor as an ex-officio
member;

(bb) The Dean of the Faculty concerned, as the
Chairman provided that the Vice-Chancellor
shall chair whenever he is present at any
meeting of the Committee of Examiners;

(cc) The Deputy Dean of the Faculty concerned;

(dd) The Head of Department;

(ee) The coordinator(s) responsible for any of the
courses or programmes of study which is not
included in any field of any Department
within the Faculty, if relevant;

(ff) Any Internal Examiners; and/or

(gg) Any other persons as may be appointed by
the Senate.

(B) In the event of an emergency, the Vice-Chancellor
may appoint any person as a member of any
Committee of Examiners unless otherwise provided
for under these Regulations.

(C) If the Dean of the Faculty is unable to perform his
duties as the Chairman of the Committee of
Examiners, the Deputy Dean responsible for First
Degree programme may carry out the duties of the
Dean of the Faculty as the Chairman of the said
committee.
