TECHNOLOGY, PEDAGOGY AND CURRICULUM CREDITS
Sinopsis/Synopsis
Kursus ini direkabentuk supaya pelajar dapat mendalami perkembangan teknologi dan kesannya kepada
kurikulum dan pedagogi serta menganalisis secara kritis kesesuaian peralatan, perisian dan pendekatan
berasaskan teknologi baru dalam sistem pendidikan di negara ini. Fokus perbincangan termasuklah
konsep Pendidikan Jarak Jauh, Pendidikan Elektronik, Pembelajaran Maya, Pembelajaran Mobile,
pendekatan-pendekatan pengajaran yang menggunakan komputer dalam bilik darjah dan aplikasinya
kepada bidang-bidang tertentu.
This course is designed for students to deepen their study in technology development and its effects on curriculum
and pedagogy, and also enable them to critically analyse the suitability of tools, software and approach based on
current technology in the education system of this country. Students will explore how technology can be applied to
the existing curriculum. Media literacy classroom applications and techniques will be addressed. Legal and ethical
issues will be examined along with the role of technology within the present curricula. Foci of discussion include
concept of distance learning, electronic learning, virtual learning, mobile learning, teaching approaches using
computers in the classrooms and applications to specific fields of specialization.
