                Sinopsis/Synopsis

                Kursus ini  memberi pendedahan tentang perkembangan bidang penaksiran pembelajaran,  pengaruh  psikologi  kognitif dalam
                membentuk kaedah penaksiran serta mengenal ciri-ciri penaksiran berkesan.   Perbincangan merangkumi ciri-ciri sistem penaksiran
                berkesan,  kaedah  kualitatif  (seperti portfolio) dan kuantitatif  (seperti model  Rasch, analisis item)  dalam penaksiran, penaksiran
                alternatif, pemikiran semula penaksiran, pengintegrasian penaksiran  dan pelaporan keputusan penaksiran.  Aplikasi konsep kepada
                bidang masing-masing juga akan dibincangkan.

                This course offers exposure on development of learning assessment, influence of cognitive psychology in developing assessment
                approach and identifies the characteristics of effective assessment. Discussions will cover characteristics of effective assessments
                system,  qualitative (e.g. portfolio) and quantitative approaches  (e.g. Rasch model,  item analysis) in assessment,  alternative
                assessment, rethinking assessment, integration of assessment and reports of assessment result. Application of concepts in meeting
                the needs of individual student’s area of specialisation will be discussed.
