               SIK 2009 MICROBIOLOGY FOR HEALTH SCIENCES

               This course provides students with basic knowledge and   SIK 2011    ETHNOBOTANY
               practical  skills  in  microbiology.  Topics  covered  include
               microbial  diversity  and  their  classifications,  the  growth,   Principles  of  ethnobotany;  the  different  disciplines  of
               culture and control of microorganisms, microbial diseases,   ethnobotany; the roles of ethnobotany in modern society;
               microbial  media  preparation,  inoculation  and  culturing   plants  and  their  origins;  the  role  of  taxonomy  in
               techniques, colonial morphology characteristics, principles   ethnobotany;   medicinal   plants   from   ethnobotany;
               of  identification  tests,  hands-on  basic  microbiological   conservation  and  ethnobotany;  evaluating  economic
               techniques and data interpretation & analysis. The aim of   values of ethnobotany; use of ecology in ethnobotany.
               this  module  is  to  create  an  interest  in  research
               microbiology  and  as  well  as  provide  an  overview  of   Assessment Methods:
