It felt wonderful to have a conversation with an older person and ask
them to retell their stories. The process was definitely not easy because
there are so many things to be careful of, such as how we are going to
ask things, the tone, and how to ensure that the conversation goes on
track and also the possibilities that the interviewee couldn't remember
much about an event. Also, having to ensure that we are not pushing
them emotionally and to make sure they are comfortable talking to us.
Quite a challenging experience and definitely a good startup for me for
my clinical days in dental faculty.
Love others as you love
yourself.

Always be there for older people, and always volunteer to listen to their stories. They may seem strong or
independent at times but along the way, our company is what they need.
Tan Zi Liang, Year 2
It was a fantastic experience with Puan Norma, a sporty and active lady.
I am pretty inspired and motivated by her passion towards dentistry as
well as her thoughts. Felt that was a golden opportunity to grab and
definitely an activity I will join again in the future!
What comes around, goes

Be more empathetic towards the older adults- to show love towards them, respect them, and always treat
them like our own parents.
