                   IRSOC X JIISA Strategic Workshop

                                                             students  from  the  department  and  our  counterparts  from
                                                             JIISA. Multiple areas of alignment were discussed such as
                                                             the simulation topic, media outlook, and the execution of
                                                             the  program  as  it  will  be  conducted  physically  in  the
                                                             respective  countries.  Inquiries  were  also  made  to  our
                                                             counterparts and vice versa.


                                                             With  that  completed,  both  sides  focused  on  task
                                                             delegation within the respective units. The workshop then

    in  Universiti  Malaya.  Since  11  September  2022,  IRSOC  with a photo session before all were dismissed.

    mutual  goals  to  progress  towards.  With  that,  the
    introduction of the strategic simulation aims to usher in a
    better understanding of the world’s problems by allowing
    participants  to  delve  into  the  specific  roles  under  a
     nation-state; all of which will be done in a hybrid manner
    in May 2023.

    Minggu Haluan Siswa (MHS) Club & Society Day held on
    22 October 2022 is an annual event to introduce clubs and
    societies  in  Universiti  Malaya  to  new  students.  This  year
    marked another milestone for IRSOC as it was the first time
    IRSOC  joined  the  MHS  Club  &  Society  Day.  The  two-day
    event was held at Dewan Gemilang of the 12th Residential
    College  with  over  20  clubs  joining.  10  committee
    members were on duty for both days, rotating shifts from 8
    am to 8 pm.


    IRSOC’s  booth  was  decorated  with  colourful  infographic
    boards  that  showcased  our  previous  activities  and
    initiatives.  The  response  received  from  students  who
    attended  the  event  was  overwhelming  as  IRSOC’s  booth
    was  visited  by  many  students  from  various  faculties  and  students from other departments to sign up for the lecture
    departments. Committee members were very enthusiastic     as  they  were  interested  in  the  topic  of  discussion:
    in introducing the club to other students, as      many of  Challenges of EU’s Digital Sovereignty. It was definitely a
