community, I am confident that Universiti Malaya will continue to stand tall as a
respected, relevant, and sustainable institution of knowledge - for today’s generation
and for the future of the nation.

I call upon the entire Universiti Malaya community to come together in supporting and
realising this budget. With sustained commitment and a shared sense of responsibility,
I am confident that Universiti Malaya will continue to move forward with confidence
as a resilient, independent, and excellent institution, and remain sustainable in driving
excellence in line with the aspiration of Financial Sustainability under the Universiti
Malaya Strategic Plan 2026–2030.
