72. The SIXTH POINT, our former professors and academicians will be rightfully
leveraged on to give the best outcome for the university.
73. I have attended a get-together event held by the Persatuan Mantan Profesor
Universiti Malaya (PMPUM).They are the epitome of our academic excellence and
we appreciate their contributions, expertise and academic impact which have
transformed the nation and the world of knowledge and research.
74. We will continue to honour and to leverage on our pool of great and respected
talents and academic figures that have made us and the nation proud, and for
them to continue to share and offer their rich and esteemed academic experience
and credentials in enlightening our young generations for the benefits of our
shared future.
75. We will include them to contribute to the university and to continue to be part of
our teaching and learning system for them to share their expertise and knowledge
to our new generations.Our appreciation to all our former professors who have
made UM and all of us standing tall.
The road ahead remains challenging yet rewarding. We must continue to double our
efforts to maintain our momentum and to strive for the best for the university.

Our future generations and our nation depend on our unyielding will and passion to
see things to fruition.
As I have always mentioned, the best is yet to come.
