               12.  On academic matters, all the current Guru Bahasa will now be known as Pensyarah
                   Bahasa/ Language Lecturer. This is another effort to recognise their status and
                   contributions.
               13.  Academic rapport and comprehensive advancement are important, and the way
                   forward is to have both flexibility and the uncompromising standard of quality and
                   threshold.
               14.  All academicians and lecturers must have the wisdom to ensure that both are
                   in place, and they must be fully conscious and cognisant of the comprehensive
                   performances and needs of the students in their study and research progress.
               15.  This is fundamental in ensuring a close rapport and understanding which will
                   help in their academic and research progress, with the targeted intervention and
                   support from the lecturers and academicians.
               16.  Over the past month, we have seen great sporting spirit and achievements of
                   our students and staff. We have seen our students giving their best in the Sukan
                   Institut Pengajian Tinggi (SUKIPT) in UUM Sintok.
               17.  At the international level, we have received high level visits by top delegations,
                   with the Minister of State for External Affairs, H.E. Shri Kirti Vardhan Singh, the
                   Ambassador of Iran, and top officials from Russia, Japan, China and Indonesia.

                   and humanistic growth remains equally pertinent.
               25.  This is where we as the foremost university comes into the picture in addressing
                   the whole spectrum of inclusive and comprehensive growth that will see both
                   the physical and spiritual growth and development, in getting all Malaysians on
                   board in rising up to the challenges of tomorrow and in ensuring that no one is left
                   behind in the progressive trajectory.
