        OLM Asia visit the Department of Media and
                         Communication Studies, FASS


    The  Department  of  Media  and  Communication  Studies         By Assoc Prof Dr. Md Azalanshah Md Syed
    welcomed  a  visit  from  OLM  Asia  –  a  newly  established
    branch of Japanese animation house from Cyberjaya. OLM
    Asia, the first Malaysian 2D animation studio, was founded
    in  2017  and  is  best  known  for  its  work  on  hit  anime
    television  series  such  as  “Pokémon  the  Series:  Sun  &
    Moon” and “Beyblade Burst Turbo”.

    Their  Human  Resource  Manager,  Ms  Nor  Zuleeyana
    Osman,  and  Recruitment  Unit  Officer,  Mr  Riezman  Harris,  First year student with OLM speaker and staff

    The  signing  of  the  MoU  and  MoA  between  Universiti
    Malaya  (UM)  and  Burapha  University,  Thailand  is  a
    milestone  in  the  development  of  academic  collaboration
    between the two countries. This agreement will provide a
    platform  for  the  exchange  of  students,  faculty,  and
    knowledge  between  the  two  universities.  It  will  also
    facilitate the sharing of resources, research, and expertise,
    and  promote  the  development  of  new  educational
    opportunities. The signing of this agreement is a testament
    to  the  commitment  of  both  universities  to  strengthening
    the  ties  between  Malaysia  and  Thailand.  It  is  also  a
    recognition   of   the   importance   of   international
    collaboration in the advancement of higher education.
