                Course Learning Outcomes   At the end of the course, students are able to:
                                           1.   Identify  contemporary  economic  and  marketing  theories,  issues,  strategies  and  its
                                               influence on sport industry.
                                           2.   Analyse economics principles and relate to several different economic environment in
                                               sport.
                                           3.   Analyse how economics, political, social cultural, technology and legal factors influence
                                               marketing and relate to several different marketing environments in sport.
                Synopsis of Course Contents   This  course  discusses  basic  economic  and  marketing  principles  in  the  context  of
                                           management and business organization environment as well as sport industry in Malaysia.
                                           Students will be exposed to theories, methods, issues and processes that exist in the current
                                           sport economy and marketing system.  Techniques that are used in analyzing economy and
                                           marketing information in the sport organization are also learned.

                                            2.   Discuss characteristics of sport entrepreneurship
                                            3.   Evaluate the necessary sport entreneurship competencies and clarify issues of sport
                                               entrepreneurship
                Synopsis of Course Contents   This course is to inculcate sport entrepreneurship culture among future sport managers. The
                                           students will be exposed to the history of sport entrepreneurship as well as the evolution of
                                           sport entrepreneurship as a field of study. This course provides general understanding of
                                           sport entrepreneur’s characteristics and the process of creating and expanding the new sport
                                           business initiatives.
