(ii) Withdrawal must be made in writing to the Deputy Vice
Chancellor concerned through the Dean of the Faculty and
the decision of the University is final.
(iii) A student that is given approval to withdraw from the
University after Friday on the second lecture week shall :
(A) be charged the tuition fees for course that was
registered; and
(B) have a grade W2 recorded for the course
concerned.
4. STRUCTURE OF PROGRAMME OF STUDY
(1) Degree Studies Structure
(a) The Degree Studies Structure for each programme of study shall
contain three course components that is University Course, Core
Course and Electives/Minor Course that is determined by the
Faculty and approved by the Senate.
(b) Course component weightage are as stated in Schedule A
attached to this Regulations.
(c) Notwithstanding anything stated in paragraphs (a) and (b) above,
any programme of study that has a standard program by the
Malaysian Qualifications Agency or a standard by a professional
body, the programme concerned shall be subject to the
compliance requirements as prescribed.
(2) Duration for Completion of Programme of Study
(a) The minimum and maximum duration for completing a
programme of study are as follows:

Six Semester 6 Normal Semesters 10 Normal Semesters
Seven Semester 7 Normal Semesters 11 Normal Semesters
Eight Semester 8 Normal Semesters 12 Normal Semesters
(b) Notwithstanding anything stated in paragraph (a) above, Special
Semesters shall be taken into account in the duration of the
programme of study if it is stated in the letter of offer for
admission.
